Why has the new Secretary for Health & Social Care refused meetings with Long Covid groups and charities and instead passed responsibility for Long Covid to the new Secretary for Public Health? Does he not believe Long Covid is within his remit? Given his background in Occupational Therapy, one would think he would understand the importance of this significant health issue that also affects children and young people. Please could he explain why he believes the tens of thousands of Scottish citizens who have suddenly become chronically ill and disabled do not deserve his attention and consideration?
