I was pleased to see that the refreshed Mental Health Strategy identifies counsellors and psychotherapists as a core part of the mental health workforce in Scotland. How will you ensure that they are better utilised in the new Mental Health Workforce Plan, particularly within the NHS, where counselling is underrepresented? and what mechanisms will there be for counsellors like myself to engage with the workforce plan development process?
