Autism is a spectrum, meaning that the support autistic people need through the social care system is different in each-and-every case. It means that providers and professionals should be constantly focused on personalised approaches, while innovating and pushing forward with good practices. Given that the National Care Service is, in no small part, about national standards and consistency, how will this new system ensure that providers maintain the flexibility to respond to individual needs by offering personalised and bespoke care and support?
