It is important to acknowledge that the healthcare issues for islands, whilst linked to remote and rural healthcare issues, are different.
I have recently moved to western isles from Forth Valley and cannot get direct contact with GP very often and have to travel to Stornoway or Glasgow or Inverness for hospital treatment despite a large empty hospital here on Benbecula!!!
