Provide comprehensive policies covering disabled people

There are no policies covering disabilty related topics such as assistance dogs, independent wheelchair users, mobility scooter users, powered wheelchair users, etc. Without these, staff cannot be trained appropriately as to how to work with a wide variety of people with disabilities and these people do not have their rights upheld and often miss out on access to services. To ensure diversity and inclusion of disabled people, policies need to be written in co-design and co-production with people of lived experience and organisations representing these people.
