Health services and support are being provided by a range of organisations (NHS, charities, volunteers). In some cases, the challenge for rural residents is geography; in some cases it's deprivation of opportunity; in some cases it's economic; in some cases it's rural circumstances like being in a rural livelihood. Some of these challenges are entirely specific to rural residents and even then not to all of them. This needs people with knowledge of these challenges and experience of how they are being tackled in some places/ways to be invited to the table to help inform Govt & local planning and policy so it's relevant and appropriate. We have RSABI working with farming communities, we have GWT working with gamekeeping families, the Sandpiper Trust, Scottish Rural Network... May take a big table, but so much of value could come out of it.
